This is an image of the region around Alnitak, the leftmost star in Orion's belt, It includes the Flame Nebula and the Horsehead Nebula and was made using the Shywatcher refractor telescope that is mounted piggy-back fashion on the LX200R telescope. The Starlight Xpress SXV H16 CCD camera was used with exposures of 10 minutes for the luminance channel and 2 minutes each for the R, G and B
